Question
Why is there no video when using my HDMI splitter?
Answer
- Unplug the HDMI splitters AC power adapter, then plug it back in again.
- Make sure your TV(s) are set to the proper input.
- Make sure that the destination device with the lowest resolution is connected to OUT 1 port to make sure video is displayed. NOTE: The splitter uses the resolution, timing information, and audio formats of the destination device with the lowest resolution for both devices.
- Make sure that your DVD movie is original. NOTE: HDMI includes HDCP copy protection, which prevents playback of illegally copied movies.
- Make sure that the HDMI cables are not broken and are securely connected.
- Make sure that the audio and video formats of the content being used (i.e., Blu-ray disc) are supported by all connected devices.
- Make sure that you are using high-speed HDMI cables for all connections.
