Why is there no video when using my HDMI splitter?

Answer

  1. Unplug the HDMI splitters AC power adapter, then plug it back in again.
  2. Make sure your TV(s) are set to the proper input.
  3. Make sure that the destination device with the lowest resolution is connected to OUT 1 port to make sure video is displayed. NOTE: The splitter uses the resolution, timing information, and audio formats of the destination device with the lowest resolution for both devices.
  4. Make sure that your DVD movie is original. NOTE: HDMI includes HDCP copy protection, which prevents playback of illegally copied movies.
  5. Make sure that the HDMI cables are not broken and are securely connected.
  6. Make sure that the audio and video formats of the content being used (i.e., Blu-ray disc) are supported by all connected devices.
  7. Make sure that you are using high-speed HDMI cables for all connections.
