Hello, I recently factory restored my computer and after trying to reinstall my Bluetooth Adapter (Model Number: RF-FLBTAD) I keep getting an error message after clicking the Install Bluetooth Adapter Driver button on the CD saying "No Bluetooth Device was detected. Please make sure that your bluetooth device is plugged in properly in order to continue installation."
I know that it is conecting because the first time I plugged it in it Automatically installed drivers for it.
The Driver installation that I downloaded from the site tells me the same thing.
I am using Windows 7.
Help would be much appreciated, thank you.

I would suggest uninstalling the device and driver and reinstalling it. To do this please follow these steps:

Hello, I am having this exact same issue. The installer on the Rocketfish CD that came with my Rocketfish Bluetooth Adapter does not detect the adapter, whose blue light is lit up.
After opening up Device Manager, there is no "Bluetooth Radio" under "Network Adapters."
Furthermore, upon downloading and running the Broadcom driver installer, I see this:
What else can I do to make this product work? I am using 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium.

The installer that came on the disc is out of date so you will want to download the drivers and software from the broadcom site. Make sure that you save the file you download to the computer and don't just run it with out saving it.
Step 1) Remove the Bluetooth adapter and uninstall any drivers that have been installed for it.
Step 2) Restart the computer
Step 3) Run the Broadcom software as administrator
Step 4) When prompted put the Bluetooth dongle into the USB port
Step 5) Bluetooth installation should be complete and ready to use after a restart
If the Broadcom software doesn't continue after inserting the USB dongle you may need to close the installer and try it again. If the Broadcom software still won't recognize the adapter you will need to try to update the driver manually and finish the Broadcom install.

Hello, I purchased the Micro Bluetooth Adapter, model RF-MRBTAD today from a local BestBuy.
I plugged in the adapter into a USB port , which lit up, and ran the software on CD provided with the adapter. A window pops up titled "Bluetooth Software" saying "Preparing to Install. . .", then says, "No Bluetooth device was detected."
I tried restarting my computer with the adapter plugged in, hoping it would be fully recognizable by the software, no luck though.
I went online for the Bluetooth Software Download from Broadcom and tried installing it as well. Again, no luck.
I tried looking in my device manager underneath Network Adapters and Human Interface Devices, but no luck in either.
So, all in all, I need help with getting this adapter becoming recognizable to install its software onto my computer.
I'm running windows 7, 64-bit if that info is at all needed.
Help would be very appreciated, thank you.
Edit: I have tried using different USB ports on my computer (didn't change much). I also tried to use the Bluetooth adapter on another computer in my household, it could not recognize it either, unfortunately.

Try plugging in the adapter and just letting Windows install the drivers automatically. Do you hear the normal sound when you plug in the USB adapter into the port?

I do hear the normal sound when I plug in the adapter. Windows told me, when I first plugged it in, that it installed updates/drivers for it. I am trying to use the adapter with Better DS3 / DS3 Tool to wirelessly use a PS3 controller, but when I go to pair the controller, the program itself does not recognize that there is a bluetooth available for use. This makes me believe that I need to install the CD software/Broadcam software for the full use of the adapter.
Thank you for replying.
