I am at a loss. This just wont work and ive gone back to the store I bought it from twice and they keep telling me it should work. Its plugged into the power source plugged into hdmi and plugged into phone, but tv keeps saying no signal.....soooo frustrated. Any inro would be so helpful.

I’m going to recommend an HDMI reset. To do this, unplug the TV and power off the tablet. Disconnect the HDMI cable and the adapter from both ends and then reconnect them. Turn on the tablet. Give it about 30 seconds to boot up before plugging in the TV. This should fix the issue. If not, please let us know so we can figure out something else.

There really isn't anymore we can do to troubleshoot the cable. I would recommend checking the settings on your tablet at this point. We know that it works on your phone, so the most likely issue is a setting on your tablet.

You bring up a very good point, if the case keeps the plug from going in the full depth, the difference can be enough to keep the device from getting a secure enough connection to detect and use.
