Hello Dsetz,

Welcome to Community@ Rocketfish™!

I'm very sorry that the lights on this cable don't work for you. Just to confirm, what is the Rocketfish product model number? I'll be sure to pass this along to our Product Support Team for further research.

Re: Lighted USB to apple 30-pin cable

Hello again Dsetz,

There are two models of the Lighted USB to Apple 30-pin cable available. Do you know if you have the RF-LASC3 or the RF-LASC3W?

Thanks,
Justin

Re: Lighted USB to apple 30-pin cable

Hello Dsetz,

The RF-LASC3 and RF-LASC3W are ccompatible with select Apple devices, iIncluding iPod® touch 4th generation, iPod classic (160GB), iPod nano 6th generation, iPhone® 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad®, iPad 2 and iPad 3rd generation.  The cable is designed to light up to let you know when your device is charging or syncing and will not be lit up when the device is not charging or transferring data.

Re: Lighted USB to apple 30-pin cable

Hello Dsetz,

I would recommend returning with your RF-LASC3 and a copy of your receipt to your place of purchase in order to pursue the possibility of warranty repair or replacement.
